We cannot say enough great things about Thompson! We have frequented Wooden Boat over the last year and have always been blown away by the quality of his food, as well as the passion he puts into all of his food and work. So when we needed a caterer for our small backyard wedding, we knew we had to speak with Thompson. Through the whole process (during COVID especially) he was so helpful, fun and caring to work with. Obviously, he blew us away again on our wedding day with the appetizers and meal he served us and our guests. He was so passionate about delivering us the best food, and was such an awesome individual to have involved in our day. Our guests were all raving about his food! If you are looking for a local caterer that will go above and beyond for you, Thompson is your guy! Thanks Thompson, you are truly so talented at what you do!

Absolutely beautiful location, architecture from it being old church. But the acoustics where horrible, all the controls and stage is in the choir loft but unless everyone is dead quite and even then barely hear what people are saying into the microphone.

Restoring the Famous Fisherman's Bonspiel to it's original prime bonspoel spot (after a 4 year break due to Covid) must have been a gigantic task! Thanks for the many volunteers that carried it off! Kudos!

The meeting space at OfficeInc is perfect for our Tupperware events. I love the rolling tables and chairs for ease of setup. The staff at OfficeInc are super nice and helpful as well. We'll be back!

TLDR venue is nice, kitchen24 team could be better, but Steve is the worst person any of us have ever worked with.Venue itself is very nice, but management is terrible. Kitchen24's contact doesn't know how to use reply all to keep everyone in an email chain, including us, their paying clients. Their team wasn't the best at admin work, but the real problem was Steve.Steve was fine until after we gave our deposit. From then on, he was rude and condescending in every interaction with us and our caterer. In our first meeting, he said he could put us in contact with amazing caterers, but 1 month later (4 weeks until our event), no progress was made. We contacted Kitchen24 and was told Steve would contact us in a week. He never did, so we contacted him. He claims his caterer is sick and does not want their contact information passed around. We asked Steve for other suggestions, and now he says he doesn't know any other caterers.Closer to the event date, the caterer we found ourselves told us they tried to arrange a site visit and rental drop off, but got nowhere with Steve. During our event, caterer found out that the prearranged dishes and flatware drop off were rejected by Steve the day before and he made no effort to contact anyone.His number was left as a contact during the event, but when the caterer called him, he answered their question but also said he was with people and didn't want to be disturbed.
